Bentley Drivers Club Silverstone Race Meeting. Saturday 5th August 2017

The Bentley Drivers Club arrived at Silverstone for their annual race meeting at the beginning of August. This was a social event as well as a race meeting for the club and the paddock was full of vintage and classic Bentley’s covering most of its history. Classic Nostalgia, Shelsley Walsh. 22nd-23rd July 2017

The Classic Nostalgia hill climb took place at Shelsley Walsh in mainly sunny conditions, much to the delight of the large crowd. This year the Midland Automobile Club (MAC) were celebrating Rallying and the Campbells Speed records. Lire plus

The Chateau Impney Hill Climb 2017

Now in it’s third year of revival, it was fifty years ago this year that the original Chateau Impney sprint ran for the last time. Now the revived Hill climb is going from strength to strength. Lire plus

Flywheel, Bicester Heritage. 24th-25th June 2017

Now in it’s third year, the event covers historic motoring and aviation, with demonstrations on the ground and in the air. Based at a former war time air base, Bicester Heritage is now being re-developed in to the UK’s only business park dedicated to historic motoring and aviation. It is also still an active airfield for light aircraft and gliding. Lire plus

Formula Vintage Round 2, Oulton Park

Upon arrival at Oulton Park it was dry and cloudy for morning practice. Behind the main paddock, there was an AutoSolo event taking place, an auto test where cars compete in a specific direction round a course marked by traffic cones. Lire plus
