The Lancia Flaminia prototype, still equipped with hinged doors, was exhibited at the 1956 Turin Motor Show, while the final version made its debut at Geneva in 1957. The Lancia Flaminia was intended to be the flagship of the prestigious brand. Among the various versions that were produced, the convertible proved to be of rare elegance and its road holding never ceased to be praised by the specialist magazines. In addition to its successful design, the construction of the Touring "Superleggera" was exceptionally refined, thanks to the use of numerous aluminium components. Several engines were offered, and the 2.8L V6 with 3 Weber carburetors was the most powerful version.
This beautiful Italian is one of 176 left-hand drive cars with this engine. First registered in December 1967. The bodywork is in an elegant grey livery which blends perfectly with the original red leather interior with a patina that will delight many. This combination is, let's face it, simply sumptuous.
