This particular 1976–1977 Ducati 900SS has undergone a complete mechanical restoration by the undisputed specialist for this model in Germany – often referred to as “the Pope of the 900SS.” No expense was spared to bring it into pristine condition. Works carried out include:

New mounting bracket

New battery and fuse holder

Brand-new tires and tubes, professionally balanced

New brake discs front and rear

New master cylinders front and rear

Full oil and filter service

Valve clearance checked, spark plugs replaced

New exhaust gaskets

Engine carefully inspected and refreshed

Although road-ready, the bike has not been ridden since the overhaul due to the previous owner’s Achilles tendon injury. It remains in collector-grade condition, retaining all its hallmarks of originality: numbered Conti silencers, correct Dell’Orto PHM 40mm carburetors, and the rare right-side gear shift – unique to early models.
