Mille Miglia 2010 : c'est déjà fini !

The 83rd Mille Miglia, the world's greatest road race, was
presented in Rome on April 27 against the splendid backdrop of the
Capitoline Museums. Doing the honors was its "godmother", Anna
Falchi, the President of the Organizing Committee, Alessandro
Casali, its Secretary General, Sandro Binelli, the Deputy Mayor of
Rome, Mauro Cutrufo and the Cultural Assessor of the City of
Brescia, Andrea Arcai. Among the newest features in this year's
race is Ferrari's Tribute with 130 Ferraris starting off
immediately before the cars in the race; the presence of two
Italian ministers, Franco Frattini and Stefania Prestigiacomo,
representing the government in the race; the presence of many
famous names among the competitors, including racing car drivers,
Olympic athletes, industrialists, and…the cars: 51 different models
from 34 different countries, among which a unique Isotta Fraschini
which once belonged to King Umberto.
