BCM LogoBremen: Good mood despite ice and snow
Classic Motorshow satisfies guests from all over the North
36,086 visitors attended the Bremen Classic Motorshow this past weekend. "A result we're very satisfied with", said Fair Director, Hans Peter Schneider, "even if it is a bit of a pity because I'm sure even more classic car fans would have come if ice and snow hadn't made the drive extremely difficult".

Frank Ruge, Project Supervisor of the Bremen Classic Motorshow and consequently in the midst of all the action, received a lot of positive feedback from the 554 exhibitors: "The fair has once again grown a little more, both in quantity and quality. The Alfa Romeo special show in Bremen was absolutely unique: the public had access to many historically important vehicles and could talk to experts about the history of the vehicles. The visitors also appreciated the high-quality of the items on sale in all vehicle categories. And another special feature is the relaxed atmosphere that makes Bremen so distinctive."

The visitors' enthusiasm for the Bremen Classic Motorshow can also be expressed in numbers: 70.1 per cent had already been to the classic car show several times before, and 83.1 per cent are already planning their next visit. This is also true of the guests from abroad: 12.8 per cent of the visitors came from the Benelux countries, Great Britain and Scandinavia (compared to 6.4 per cent last year).

Christoph Grohe, owner of the company, Fine Classic Cars from Switzerland, is most likely very satisfied as well: His "barn find", an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport "Freccia d'Oro", not only won the "Spirit of the Show" competition, but also found a new owner on the very first day of the fair. The German Mercedes-Benz/8 Club claimed this year's prize for the most original club presentation with its presentation entitled "Tausend und eine Acht" [translated as "a thousand and one eight", a play on words of the German phrase "Tausendundeine Nacht", referring to the German title of the "One Thousand and One Nights" folk tale collection].

The date for the next Bremen Classic Motorshow has already been set for Friday, 4th February to Sunday, 6th February, 2011. Additional information is available at Tel: 01 80 / 55 58 37 42 (14 euro cents per minute) and online at www.classicmotorshow.de.
